Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises has been operating since 1965, and has steadily built up a reputation as one of the best in the industry. Now the third largest cruise line in the world, around 1.3 million passengers cruise with them every year. Princess was made famous by the Love Boat TV series, which featured the Pacific Princess, and is largely responsible for the renewed popularity of cruising in the seventies and eighties.

With sixteen ships operating, Princess has a huge range of sizes and amenities available. The newest ship is the Royal Princess which was introduced to the world in June 2013. This ship is the 6th largest passenger ship in the world and can hold 3600 passengers.

Called the most popular ship at sea, the Royal Princess has a spectacular atrium that is 50% larger than previous atriums, a pastry shop, a TV studio, a theatre and the SeaWalk-a glass-bottomed walkway that extends 28 feet over the edge of the top deck and 128 feet above the ocean.

In 2014 the Regal Princess will be introduced, and will have an even larger atrium, more entertainment options, a larger adult-only sanctuary, and an Italian-inspired gelateria.

Why Cruise with Princess?

Princess Cruises pride themselves on their high attention to detail and warm customer service. When you cruise with Princess you know you're more than just a number, and their staff will go out of their way to make your cruise the best experience possible.

One of the highlights of cruising with Princess is the exceptional cuisine, and the chefs aboard create delicious meals from scratch, using fresh local produce every day.

Relax in the adults-only sanctuary where you can get away from it all and enjoy a massage or a few drinks. Those who like to learn on vacation may want to take a ceramic painting class or a digital photography workshop, or just relax in the onboard library.

Active travelers can use the jogging track, head to the gym, or practice their swing on the 9-hole putting green.

Princess is an award-winning cruise line, and has won Best Cruise Line Itineraries for the last seven years. In 2013 alone, Princess won Best Cruise Line for Couples, Best Pizza at Sea, Top Large Cruise Ships, and Top Medium Cruise Ships.

Family Travel with Princess

Families love Princess, and they have a large amount of children-friendly facilities onboard. Children are separated into groups from 3-7, 8-12 and 13-17, with different age appropriate activities for each group so they won't get bored. Experienced counsellors supervise and entertain the kids all day, and you'll probably find your kids shoveling down their food so they can get back to their friends.

If the kids don't want to leave the ship, they can stay onboard, and the counselors will make sure they're having a great time while you explore the port. There is also late night kidsitting available, so you can watch a show or have a quiet dinner alone.
